Well I broke down and bought a new bow, even though I'm short on money. Hey its just money right? It's a bowtech tribute, and I really liked it a lot. I also shot the Diamond Marquis, and would have loved to have bought it but I didn't have enough money. I wish I could have convinced my parents to let me get a bow when RickJames was selling his marquis for a great price. Now I'm going to have to try it out over my Christmas break
Dude.....If your going to be like that, change your profile pic. Gross!!! I'm joking. I guess if I didn't have my awesome PSE, then bowtech would be alright. LOL
haha I'll change it. It doesn't make sense to keep it. There was also a bow for sale locally that was a PSE Scorpion with a lot of stuff that came with for like $400 but I shot it and didn't like it as much. I also would have had to invest a little money in it as well. The tribute just felt right. Right off the shelf it was the perfect draw lenght, the pins were matched to what I needed up to 30 yards at least, and it had a nice drop-away that probably cost around $100 and nice sights that cost around $80.
Well now that I've got my new bow I had a question about arrows and fletching. With my old bow I had goldtip carbons with the older 3 inch long fletching. Now that I actually have a nicer bow that can shoot faster I was thinking about possibly buying some nicer arrows. Do any of you guys know how much the arrows and fletching type effect the fps speed? I haven't shot my old arrows with the new bow yet, and I don't even know how the arrows would shoot with the drop away rest. I also need to invest in a stabilizer and don't really know what to do. How effective are stabilizers? Do I really need to invest that much money into one, or could I get by with just buying a cheaper 20-30 dollar one?
I personally don't think you need to buy an expensive stabilizer. I just use a limbsaver. I think it was like 20 bucks. Just my opinion.
