    Hey guys,
I'm getting back into bow hunting after some time off and still shooting a old school XI extreme. Great bow and always done me well but decided it's time to upgrade to some new technology. I like the Mathews creed and chill but curious if there is a big difference from the mission line? I don't mind spending the $ if it's worth it. I figured you guys would have best opinions on this. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Best thing to do is go shoot them and see what YOU think.
For me, the Chill was worth the extra money. I love this bow!

I was set on buying the chill and ended up ordering the mission ballistic. Love this bow. Basically the same thing as the chill just not as high end.

    ^this.

I bought a new bow last year. I was coming from an old Bear that I bought over 20yrs ago. I had some ideas of what I thought I wanted but, when I went to a shop & started shooting them....wow. First I was blown away by how awesome the technology was today but, after the intial sensation passed, I focused on what felt "best" to me.

I shot probably 10 different bows. Narrowed it down to 3, & went home. Went back a few days later, shot those 3 again. One just stood out. It was clear which one felt the best, & was suited to me the most. That's the one I bought.

There are a ton of good bows out there. I know that if I would've bought off of marketing, or others' opinions, I would've stood a good chance of not getting what was best suited to me, my shooting technique, style, etc.

Nothing wrong with having some preconceived notions but, honestly...if you are set on a brand or model, so be it. However, you might be surprised, if you go to a shop with multiple mfgs, & shoot em all. Even if you still buy the one you thought you wanted going in..... It'll be a fun afternoon, & you'll get a great idea of what the others have to offer.

Shoot the Mission Blaze and Ballistic and then you'll know what bow you want!

Shoot alot of bows...dont even worry about brand. I figured I'd like the chill after reading some reviews...walked away with a spyder turbo couldnt be happier.

I recently went in looking for a Mathews, shot them. Liked them a lot. Shot the Missions, liked them too. I ended up buying a Hoyt. I didn't like the "look" of the Hoyt nearly as much as I liked the look of the Mathews and Missions until I shot it. The Hoyt just fit my hand and body better.

It's odd how things change once you start shooting a few different models at the same time.
