i too am new and i've been shooting all the bows i can lately at the local pro shops. i really liked the assassin too. i've heard they didn't skimp on the accessories on it and they should be good. obvoiusly not the best but i've heard are decent. i will let others who are more knowledgeable answer you though as like i said im pretty new and interested in their replies too. its sold out here and im on the call list for when it comes in, but i will more than likely be picking it up. cant wait to get out and practice practice practice for upcoming deer season. good luck to you!

Well i just looked at the bow online really quick and everything on there looks pretty good as far as quality. Truglo and cobra both are good sights. I dont know much about the rest because i use a wisker buiscut. But as far as everything else looks good man.

I have the Assassin. I love it. I've replaced almost everything that came with it in favor of more "high end" gear. However, the sight is a decent sight and the hostage rest really isn't a bad rest, at all. The stabilizer is a personal preference. I prefer a little longer stabilizer to get the weight out front, a bit.

It's MORE than ready to kill, the way it is sold. Buying the Assassin affords one the ability to buy an affordable bow, and use it, right away. As you find other accessories you like, you can swap, but, still able to hunt with it without spending money on accessories, right off the bat.

Seems like a good buy to me...lots of people shoot the hostage...and the sights arnt bad...and like said before they can be switched if needed down the road...and as far as them holding up i think they will do just as good as most other stuff
