Okay, my wife recently surprised me with buying me a Creed for my birthday. It's the regular Creed, not the XS. I had the bow shop set it to 65lbs and my draw length is 28. I was shooting Beman ICS Bowhunters out of my Reezen but am thinking about switching. They didn't do anything that particularly made me swear by them. My question is... what is the best/fastest arrow I can get for my Creed? Obviously I want them to withstand deer hunting also but would like a little speed at the same time. I will be shooting 100 grain broad heads. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
You could shoot easton hexx. 7.2 gpi in 400 spine. The vanes, insert, nock weight and the arrow length should put you above 325 which is the minimum arrow weight for 65lbs going by the 5g per pound of draw weight rule.
Id say you are on the edge of 400 spine though. 340 might be a better choice. I am not an arrow guru by the way lol im sure someone else will chime in.
Cut those baby's to 27 shooting 400 spine with a 100 grain tip and you're fine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
YUP... it's all about the 'pop' Actually Treetime, the 'fastest' arrows my bow ever shot was Gold Tip Hunters. I switched to Easton's FMJ's for the 'pop' but I've never looked back. When I upgrade to a new bow I'll probably shoot the FMJ Injexions.
