Well looks like I have the Bowtech sold, but a big vet bill came about today because of some health issues with my Bulldog, Dixie. Poor girl has an ulcer in her eye and had to get tests done for a possible thyroid condition and she's only a year and a half old. I'd rather have to miss this season bow hunting to keep my girl healthy! Who knows, maybe in a couple of months I'll be able to swing a new bow, although now this does make me lean more towards the ZXT over the Chill because of price! Any dog lover will understand this one, she comes first and so does her brother! Bulldogs, the expensive pet! lol

I completely understand these issues about dogs. Take care of Dixie first, she would do the same for you if the roll was reversed! She looks like a sweetheart.

That's Gus in my profile pic, I need to change it to both of them. Good part is, have cash in hand from the bow now which covers almost all of the vet bill. Can't wait to pick her up tomorrow, she's my sweetie pie, Gus is just a goober! Nice part too, fella that just bought it invited me on his lease if I can come up with that money in the next two months and it's a great spot, good land, I know that area well! But for now, my lil girl is getting taken care of!

Thats good. You can even look at some used bows now. Check out ebay too whenever you get some money I see good deals on there all the time

Got my lil girl back from the vet, she's tired but doing well. Now she gets to chill and do whatever she wants as long as Gus leaves her alone!

She is doing fine, just waiting on the results of the blood test for the thyroid issue so I can get her started on meds. She does NOT like the goop I have to put in her eye for the ulcer though lol

Yeah, I was going to get another stand, a nice one, and then my lab ate a pillow...Again. That was a pricy trip to the vet after he failed to pass some of it.. He's 9 now and this happened about a year and a half ago.

Good news! I had to take her back today for a follow up on her eye, the ulcer is healing well AND the Doc said her bloodwork results came in and she doesn't have a thyroid condition and that the symptoms we were seeing are more than likely allergies so now she's on some antihistamines. Although tack another $72 on for the vet trip lol
