I am buying my first bow. I am buying a bear wild bare bow. I like the look and the single cam set up. I also looked into the arena 30 and might go that route. I checked out PSE, but i have for whatever reason just liked the bears more.

Did you shoot all of them? They have to feel good and fit you more than anything.

i have never shot one and wouldn't know how they feel one way or another good or bad. I have felt them in my hand, yes, but they all feel different.

What Marv said. I got my first bow without shooting any. It was kind of a purchase now and then learn and get used to the bow I bought scenario. Biggest regret so far in my bowhunting and archery experience. Shoot the bows first until you find one that suits you, then make the purchase based off of that! You'll know when you have the right one after shooting a few arrows at a target!

Shoot what you can afford. The feel is a great way to determine what bow to get, but so is a budget.

Bear makes great bows for hunting. The best bow I ever owned was the bear attack. I still have it for the memories. I'm 60 now and have a bad hand and bad shoulder so it's xbows from now on for me. I got my first bear bow at age 8. And have shot them most of my career... except for a few years when they were putting quantity ahead of quality, but all that is well in their past. Their top of the line bows are as good as any and better then most. Buy the best bow you can afford... and welcome to the addiction... May it be enjoyable and not keep you to broke. Up close and personal. That's bow hunting. I haven't used a gun hunting in over thirty years, and don't miss it. " Bow hunt or die "
