best bows for me under $600

My vote is for the Hoyt Rampage XT. My second choice was a PSE Bow madness. Tried both at the pro shop. Fell in love with the grip and fit of the Hoyt. It felt like it belonged in my hand. However, in testing them out I robin hooded my second set of 3 arrows with the PSE. Expensive trial but worth it to know what works for me. I committed to the Hoyt because of the feel and now have 2 robin hoods with that bow. If funds become handy I will be picking up the PSE as a back up bow for my hunts.

I was just joking. It is a great bow no matter the reason you bought it. Now get your pannies out of a wad and put your big boy britches on. I guess these"" don't mean crap to you do they?? Geez man. Your going to need tougher skin than that around here.

Thats a good idea. Hmm, a Bowmadness XS would be a nice back up bow. Oh wait, a really good one would be a Hoyt Prowhawk. It has modules and it could be mine and my wifes back up bow. The Rampage XT would really be a nice back up but, thats a little much after setting one up for a back up bow.

Post it in the Bow Huntong section when you get it. Let us know what all you outfit it with as welll. We all love seeing new bows. Well, most of us do anyways.

I was in that same price range when I was looking last year. I shot the Hoyt rampage, bow tech assassin, and a couple of others at a big bow shop in the area. The Hoyt was very nice smooth and dead still at the shot. I then shot the alpine nitrous at my local shop. It is fantastic! Smooth, fast, solid, and super quiet. What put me over the top was the bow and my local tech who I trust with my bow. That goes a lot farther then the name on the limbs.

Take a look at Quest. I bought a Rogue with everything I needed for under $600. It's a great bow for the money.
