So I made a deal on craigslist for a mathews monster mr6. Turns out it was a guy I used to work with no less. $400 for the bow, t5 quiver, and a qad HDX rest. I need to get new draw length mods for it, but I am one happy camper.
It's going to be my first time hunting public land, and I will be hunting the unlimited doe tag area around the metro. It would be pretty sweet to bag a deer with both my Helim and the new Monster. Looks like I have a LOT more shooting I need to do in the next month.
LOVE that bow...congrats on the rig!!! if i find one with a good enough prove i'd have to jump on it as well!
Ha I decided this year that I was going to upgrade a lot of the accessories on my Helim... I end up buying another bow, and now I need 2x as many accessories as I did last week. Now the big question is, when I do get a sight, do I get the exact same sight for each bow or do I get different ones? I thought about a multi pin on the MR6 and a single pin slider on my Helim. Then I thought maybe if I just stuck with the same sight for both it would be better and more familiar.
