I live in Wisconsin, and I'm looking for a new bow before next year's fall bowhunting season. Any suggestions?

For a high price look at the Carbon Element.

Thats kinda a loaded question on here. Do you have a good shop near you where you can go shoot some different bows? Some guys will say hoyt some will say bowtech and others will say mathews. I just picked up a mathews helim. but I got that bow cause I really liked the way it felt and shot. My advise would be try to get out and shoot as many as you can. What price range are you thinking and how much have you shot before?

This will be my 5th season of bowhunting and I have always used a bowtech diamond razor edge, but it was a junior size, so time to upgrade. I was thinking of anything under 1,000 bucks would be my limit. I personally like the look of the Matthews, but I've heard they aren't very stable cuz they are too light. Bowtech or Hoyt I am leaning towards, and I will be visiting scheels soon to shoot some bows, but would like some advice so I have an idea going in. Thanks
