Well, after waiting a very, very long 5 weeks my Admiral finally came in yesterday. She's got the '09 Hostage on her (pray the brushes are tough!), the 7" Octane Stabilizer, a Sword Acu-Site and the G5 MetaPeep. Once the BantamWeight comes out here in a couple weeks or so we'll have her completely outfitted and ready to rock and roll! As for shootability, wow! I haven't had the pleasure to shoot a ton of bows in my day, but this is definitely one of the quietest and smoothest bows I've ever been around. Finally, at 29 inches and 65 pounds she did 300 fps twice through the chrono~
Thats a good lookin rig you've got there! Congrats and hopefully you get to draw some blood with it soon.
You bought the WOW factor! Congratulations. Tell us, what was your very first impression with your very first shot? Obviously you bought her and with good reason. I love watching people who shoot it for the first time. Very well done. Nice.
The past two years I've owned a Tomkat and being my first bow I always thought it was quiet and very smooth (not to take anything away from it, it definitely is) but the first time I shot my Admiral I really didn't know what to think! It was so quick, dead in the hand and quiet it was almost as if I hadn't even squeezed off the release. But, that's exactly how every shot was, its just an unbelievably smooth and quiet bow. I just can't wait to get her in the woods next fall
