I bought a pair last year and I love them. I wore them today when I went out to check my cameras.

I think I like the idea of the alphaburly boots being all rubber vs the neoprene muck boot because the neoprene is going to hold more scent vs a slick rubber boot rite? I don't really know just seems logical.

Good boots. I've worn and used both alphaburlys and muck boots as well as several cheaper ones. Prefer the lacrosse's but if they are the insulated ones, your feet will be hot enough to soak your socks in hot weather.

the LaCrosse are about the best in the biz.
2 seasons ago I bought some Guide Gear brand (made by Itasca) 2500 Thinsulate rubber boots from Sportsman's Guide. I couldn't justify the price of the LaCrosse on such a heavy boot when I it only gets cold enough to wear them maybe 5 times a season. I have to say I amazed at the warmth and comfort.
However, for my primary boots, LCs are my #1 choice.

I had the uninsulated alpha burly's for a long time. I absolutely love them put a couple pair of socks on when it gets cold and you'll be fine. I would still have them if someone else wouldn't have decided they needed them more than i did. I bought the scentblocker knee high rubbers this season. I was stuck between buying the Alpha Burly's and scent blockers this year, i choice the scentblockers simply on the discount they offered me. But I think you'll love the hell outta them.

Bass Pro has LaCrosse 18" realtree alphaburly sports (lighter than 2lbs ea) on sale for $80 right now. That's half off!
Bought myself 2 pairs. (good thing they're realtree, as I now need to hide from wife.)

Just ordered myself a pair of Lacross Aeroheads.

I don't personally have experience with Lacross boots but many family members and friends have them and every one of them says they love them!

I'm looking to pick up a pair of these sometime soon. I was going back & forth between the Alphas & the Aerohead. I'm pretty sure I'll go for the Aeros.

I can't comment on that brand but I will say this, when I bought my current pair of boots I killed a deer the first time wearing them in the field and I've killed bucks every year since. It's been 3 years in a row now.

I'm looking into those kenetrek boots. Seems good for literally everything, and will probably last me a lifetime.

I would like some feedback to sizing on the Aeroheads for those who have purchased them or tried them on. Are they running small or big?

I am wearing a size 10.5 boot. I was thinking I should order a 11 being I am ordering the 3.5 MM boot. This way I should be able to wear heavy socks as it gets colder. I can always add another insole if they are to loose with a mid-weight sock. To loose is way better then to tight!

    Thoughts?

I wear the Alpha Burly Sports in 800Gram. I like them alright. My only compaint with them, and this goes for any rubber boot, is that your feet will sweat like crazy in them. They don't breath. Actually, I have two complaints. The other is that they stink like rubber like no other boot I've seen. If you buy them, get them at the end of the season and start trying to tame the rubber smell before next year. It'll take that long.
