I'm looking to buy a new pair of rubber boots for winter. I have muck boots that are torn up and non insulated. I wanna get a pair like my brothers that are Thinsulated. Any suggestions for a pair around $60-$80?

I own 2 pair of Mucks. The wood max has rubber from top to bottom. They are more durable than the standard muck boot(but not as flexable. I would buy Mucks again,:nana:

Take it from me.I need rubber boots where I hunt. Get a higher end rubber boot that will last. $60 boots are junk and will last only one year. Look at getting something like the Irish Setter Swampghost.

Irish Setter boots are awesome. Spend the money now, take care of them, and they'll last!

You cant beat the muck boots imo. They are very warm.

I have the insulated walmart stuff. I think they're winchester or something like that. They're 1000 or 1200 gram and super warm. It's a 200 yard walk to my stand. I can wear a pair of normal socks and a pair of wool socks and stay warm and dry all day even with temps dipping near the 0 mark and walking through a creek for a 30 feet.
The boots I believe are $80 typically but you can get them on clearance after the season.

I also have the Mucks Woody Max - best boots ever. I know they are over your limit but if you can spend the $ and you won't be buying several pairs. The cheapest I have found them is $119 (or so) at archers friend online - they are $165 + at bass pro & cabelas.

I just bought a pair of Lacrosse Alpha Burly Sports in 800gram. So far, I really like them. Light weight for a rubber boot and pretty comfortable.

Like others have said, don't short change yourself here and buy junk boots. You'll be glad you didn't in the long run.
