Hello everyone! I'm a new member of bowhunting.com and have so far very much enjoyed reading through all the different forum posts and topics that are on here. If I may, I wanted to take a quick moment to let you all know about a new book that I recently wrote and published. It's a fiction book about hunting and the outdoors for kids and teens that's set in the hills and valleys of the Whitewater Wildlife Management Area in southeastern Minnesota. The book follows 14-year-old protagonist Shawn Buckner on a fictional quest for his first wild turkey with a bow and is full of hunting action and subtle undertones of responsible hunting ethics and morals for kids of all ages. I wrote the book with the hope of getting more kids interested in, and excited about, hunting and the outdoors. Nothing more, nothing less.
