So my Dog houses, stay out year,around...I think one is around 7 the other 3 now. Well they don't stay water proof so here is pics of two I just installed a shower cap on. 1 1/ 2 yrds of otter clothe and metal binder clips around 10.00 each. 20190917_122629.jpg 20190917_113427.jpg 20190917_113323.jpg

You can sit in a doghouse blind? I would rather be waterboarded.

I'm only 5'5" and I sit in swivel office chairs and have foot rests. Easy for me to stand. All the heavy wet snow we get...never had one collapse. Unlike the hub blind. That I have to stick an open umbrella in a piece of conduit to support the roof if it snows a little. Plus bring it in after season.

So the caps made it through a couple of wind events and lots of heavy rain...nice and dry.

I want to give you an update to the cap on hub blind. Now I don't always remember to install my anti snow collapse rig. Before the cap 2018, I ended up with several repairs to roof needed. This past season saw 3 collapses in very wet and heavy snows. The cap kept the roof from tearing. Made cleaning a breeze by just lifting the cap off then pushing hub back into place. The things still in the blind..including the carpeted rubber mats and chair remained dry. The caps on dog house blinds kept everything dry and snow slid off really well.

I should make clear the snow collapse was on the hub blind not any of dog house ones.
