Hey there, I just signed onto bowhunting.com after spying for a little while. I've been out of the bowhunting scene for about 10 years but have the itch to get back into it. It seems like alot has changed since the last time I bowhunted. I'm looking for a new bow (my last was a Proline Riptide which I killed deer with but it's dated) so any suggestions on a bow and/or accessories would be welcome. I was looking towards a Bowtech or Matthews..any help would be appreciated. Mostly hunt deer and turkeys (kinda a turkey freak) but am dreaming of an elk hunt some time in the future. Chat to ya soon and thanks for having me....

    Welcome to the site :tu:

Like A1 said, go shoot a bunch of bows. It boils down to what feels good in your hands.

Welcome! As said before shoot everything you can get your hands on. Bowtech and Mathews are both reputable brands but there are alot more out there.

Good Advice! Don't overlook any Brand you have access to, Hoyt, Elite, PSE, etc.

Also check a company's rep for top notch quality customer service. If you need it and it is not good that could leave a very sour taste in your mouth :)
