Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I've been in and out of bowhunting for the last 8 years, mostly out. I decided to get back into bowhunting this year, but the bow I had just wasn't up to snuff for me. I finally broke down and went to the local pro shop to buy a bow. I shot the new Hoyt Maxxis. Felt like a great solid bow. I almost made my mind up on the spot but the guy who runs the shop hands me another bow and says you gotta shoot this one before you make up your mind, trust me. Now I've known this man all my life so I trust his judgement when it comes to archery equipment. I never was a big fan of Bowtech, but I gotta say just by looking at the 2009 Admiral I was blown away. It was his personal bow, and we have the same draw length so I gave it a go. WOW! After my first shot he looks at me and asks, What do you think about all that Jar? I replied, There aint none. Bows have come a long way in the last few years. Smooth as butter on the draw and no handshock. I couldn't believe it. Now, my old bow (parker) was good about 8 years ago, but it don't hold a candle to this Bowtech. I decided on the Bowtech and I'm not looking back. So what's inside that bow case that you pack around?
Welcome back. Martin man myself but mostly just because their gold series bows are affordable. My Slayer on the other hand was a little pricey. I have looked at the bowtech line and they are impressive, but its always their exspensive ones I like.
Bowtech... I have the 82nd Airborne 2008, and I have the 2010 Admiral on order. Should be here soon!! Welcome, and you will love shooting that Admiral!!
Welcome, you'll love the bowtech. I just switched my old Bowtech Extreme VFT for the Diamond Marquis. I just got it in the mail today. So far it seems like a awesome bow, I still have to shoot it to confirm that though.
