I was told a story of a 5x5 near SE Cedar Rapids, IA that picked up a full body buck decoy in it's antlers and ran off (freaking out). The decoy was found a couple hundered yards away. The buck was not seen again. The guy who told me was sitting in the tree over the decoy. When he saw the buck coming he joked to himself it looked like an Elk. He never could get a shot off as the buck came in fast and hard to the decoy (trying to kill it). I always imagined his rack would look like this shed X2 but I would never be able to imagine those brow tines.
can't imagine what he looked like!! Imagine that big boy running down the trail at you, I'd probably fall out of my dang tree stand haha
