I have a Hoyt CRX 32 Bow. I was wondering if there were any better 2013 bows? Thanks....

I actually found myself a shop today that had a Prime Defy and I wanted to see what all the rave was about for these Prime bows. Let me tell you that was the smoothest bow I have ever drawn! It was nice all the way back to the wall and when I got back to the wall it didn't want to take off, it's a very solid wall to not spongy at all. Also when letting down it didn't want to rip your arm off. I shot it with the mathews creed and chill today. Personally on the draw I felt that the defy was the best then the creed and then the chill. Also there was absolutely no hand shock what so ever in that bow. The only down side to the defy was the grip, it just didn't feel the greatest to me. But if you get the chance to shoot one do it!

If you liked the Defy, you would have loved the Impact. Same cams but, the draw is a touch smoother and zero vibe period. I said it when they first released them and I'll say it again. The Primes are the best bows out there this year. That is of course my personal opinion. i have shot the Chill, Creed, DNA, Experience, Exceed, Recluse, Defy and Impact. I'd say most people who shoot them will either buy or want to buy one. I'll probably wait till next year and turn my Centroid into a hunt only rig and buy an Impact for target.

Yeah the guy that was helping me today was telling me about the impact but they didn't have one there to try. But I loved the defy and I'm thinking about selling my Heli-m to get one! And he asked me what I was pulling on my heli-m and I told him 65 so he cranked the defy all the way up to 70lbs and I seriously thought I was pulling 60lbs that's how nice that bow draws!

I have a CRX 35 and purchased the Mathews Chill this year. It was going to be my backup bow but after shooting them both side by side for the last month now the Hoyt is retired. The draw, size and weight, plus the extra 6 fps using the same arrow has won me over. Most noticeable is the draw cycle on the Chill. EXTREMELY smooth when I compare them side to side. I am a very brand loyal consumer, but IMO every year different bows climb to the top of the list as no manufacture can always make the best year in and year out. Every bow and everyone is different. In this case I think you would find a very nice compliment to having your CRX and the new Chill. Hope to hear what you think.

I'm shooting the CRX 32 as well. I bought mine this past January. Went out and shot so many bows I can barely remember them all, but the CRX felt best to me, followed by the Chill...the Chill is a great bow for sure! But I fell in love with the Fuel Cams on the CRX.

Unfortunately I shot the Bear Motive 6 the other day, and now I want one...badly...but I'm saving for a diamond ring for the girl, so a new bow will have to wait...

im confused you ask bout which bows are good then before you hear many opinions you say you will never switch. what was the point of asking the question.

going from a DNA to a defy will be a huge change the draw cycle on the DNA is so much rougher than the defy

Yea I tried both, but DNA was cheaper with my discount, though Defy had a different draw and the optifade!
