I've shot rages for few years now...only problem I've ever had wih the Oring was a pack I bought were dry rotted and cracked and I changed them out but realy only complaint I have it the blades seem to be kind of weak compared to others...I was thinking of trying the new NAP 2blades that came out ...if the bladesare as strong as the spitfires then I might switch over but I'm going to try the new rage extreme 1st opening morning and go from there

I shoot the 2 blade and haven't had any trouble. The new extreme 2 blade just seems too big to me.

This is the kind of damage a Rage can do. The only thing i've personally seen wrong with them is if you hit solid bone the tip breaks and there is no chance of penetration. I'm thinking about switching to the chisel tip Rage for this reason.

I decided to switch to the NAP Killzones this year. Think the blades are much stronger and like the design a bit better.

Yes that's what I meant the killzones....they were the makers of the spitfired which had way stonger blades then the rages ....I might try them as well

ive seen the damage that a rage 2 blade can do thats why i use them.but there not advertised on the site so alot of guys will say nap kill zones are better most without ever taking a deer or anything with them.

I have been using the Rgae 2 blades since they came out and I love them. I hate the O-ring, but that never stopped me from using them. I just made sure my O-rings were all in good condition. As far as not penetrating bone, I always do my best to place a good shot on the deer. I had one hit bone last year and bend the tip, but I recovered the buck. I am trying the new Rage 2 Blade Extreme this year becasue of the new Shock Collar. I will be posting pics of the deer I take with them.

The rage extreme did away with the o rings. There is some sort of clip that retains the blades. Also saw some clips available thru cabelas that I believe you can use on the older rages instead of the o rings. Not 100% sure if the clips were for the older style. I have some old rages I was thinking of trying the clips on them.

Yeh I think doing away with the orings will be a plus...eithor way any broadhead can only do so much but with the bows we shoot now if you hit a deer where you are supposed too any broadheadwill do the trick I just like the rages simply because you have an entry hole as big as the exit where as the spitfires was mainly exit
