Haha, no that damn camera has something wonky going on with the clock. I reset it the other day because the date was off like 2012 off. I'm sure I reset the proper time also. I'll reset it again and see, it's about time to change batteries in it anyway, I'll use lithium batts this time and see if it straightens out.

If I was going to photoshop pics of deer they would look like lagitimate Booners.

Now just wait a second.... You know darn well KS is a one buck state. And one isn't enough! I need a place in MO to hunt so I don't have to drive so far to NE!

And just think... Earlier this summer you were discouraged in what you were seein this year!

Now you have too many choices, Brent!

Haha, well now that's just greedy! Sounds like me, I like it!
These bucks are all in KS though. My MO deer are way short of comparing to the ones on the KS side. Wouldn't think a mile or three would make that much difference.

Whoa whoa whoa...I wouldn't go that far! I can't imagine having "too many choices". I'd be happy if new and bigger bucks keep showing up on a daily basis!

I was happy with the young deer I was seeing, they all looked great this year just that they were all young. The upside was there were so many of them and a lot of ten point+ ones. I was disappointed that I wasn't getting any of the old guys on camera to speak of. I thought the pickens were going to be thin this year considering our age limit being so high. I kept thinking the older ones would start showing up at some point like usual but panic was slowly creeping in, lol. Just such a relief to see it finally happen, kinda like getting a V8 to hitting on all cylinders again.

One thing that changed was there have been big patches of corn harvested here locally and without a doubt the deer that were taking refuge there all summer have dispersed back to their original ranges.
