    We've been slammed with rain the last 24 hours. We've had 7" so far and they are saying we are only half way done.

    Yeah this is all very much needed, however now the whole area is in a flood warning. Is there no happy medium?

    What is this rain you speak of? I haven't had a significant rainfall at my place since June. we are in what is termed an "exceptional drought". Texas is burning, literally.

    I'm really sorry....this really is no joke...
    My bro went and dug a 20' hole...yes 20 feet DEEP....
    He said it crumbled all the way down...
    Seriously, It will effect your Hunting Big Time!
    He said, We could use 6" of rain and it would not make a Dent
    in what we need. Slow and steady is good. It will take alot of water
    to replenish the ground....No Joke! Those prime spots will not be so prime
    Without Water!!!!!!
