    Tony....

Trust me. It's all about religion. Go back and read the excerpt I pasted. 83% of those opposed cited religious reasons.

Hard to deny that religion isn't involved.

    Futle...even.

that's a cop out, Jeff (them, not you).... like I said, BIBLE believing Christianity believes in soul liberty ... the individual makes his choice as his own conscience allows .... and NO ONE is allowed to restrict that ....

I agree on it being a cop-out. It simply has no standing in any sane discussion.

    It's 100% based on emotions.....not logic.

But, they control a LOT of votes. Their PAC is stronger than the hunters'.

It blows my mind we can get the authorization to kill millions of unborn babies, but not to hunt on Sunday ... this country truly has gone to hell ......

Well I hope my good old wife gets the job of her dreams here in the next couple of years so I can move to a place that is a little more sane.

We do have deer, and we have a very liberal season. Opening Sunday hunting would have little impact on the deer herd.

You missed the intention of my post. Wisconsin has Sunday hunting but we don't have deer. :)

Wisconsin does have deer, and a lot of them still.

I know. But you are right, the DNR effed the herd in a lot of places.

You are wise my friend. I always said it was not the DNR, it was the hunters following them blindly.

I don't know, Dan. According to that other thread (can't remember where it is), it sounds like the DNR IS effin the herd.

    Aren't they contemplating a large-scale kill-off? Did I read that wrong?

What Dan Is saying Is the Wisconsin DNR Isn't pulling the trigger for these hunters. The hunters themselves weren't forced Into this.

So, they're asking hunters to kill these deer off? Or, are they talking about doing it, themselves?

Yes they asked the hunters to kill the deer buy Issuing a ton of tags. The hunters are just as guilty If you ask me.

Are we talking about the same thing?

    I'm referencing the CWD alerts.
