    That's because the real ones are so few and far between. I've only met a handful in my entire life.... and before anyone goes there, no, I don't consider myself to be one of them.

    What is a real Christian? I guess I don't know.

    I have been called a dolt, gay, and liberal so many times it just comical. Now none of it bothers me at all, and the gay part I deserved and pushed rc a bit to far. Bruce's point was acting the opposite would get you banned on this site. That was his point, when someone disagrees with you, it's ok and can be good thing. Fletch and I agree and disagree, but fletch has never stooped to name calling. Calling someone a liberal and suggestion they are not educated is name calling and it's an attempted to dismiss them from a debate.
    I played along with rc because I found him funny, I played along, baited him and joined in this goofy debate.
    The difference is I can say I was wrong for acting and posting some of the things I did.
    I have no issue with rc or anyone here, I can laughed at my bad grammar or myself because I understand what bhc is supposed to be.
    We all get are ideals from how life treats us. We all have different views that shaped us by what has happen in our lives. Todd fox and I agree on a lot, we also disagree on few topics. That's ok, I would still hunt with him and have a great dinner at our favorite place to eat in ky.

    Debate is good, debate made this country great. Men with different ideals working together so we all benefit.

    Maybe someday we can get back there.

    Speaking for God in saying HE hates.

    The sign could also say God hates thieves, adulterers, lyres, fornicators. A Christian knows this and wouldn't just pick on Homosexuals. God loves us all the same way people love their children even when they do something wrong.

    I guess your saying the moderators been negligent and or incompetent lately...so how noble of bruce to to take one for the team and fill them in.

    Or more likely he just had a bug up his *** and was looking to argue? Is that so far fetched? Hey that sounds like RC some times too.... See my point. The post sucked from top to bottom they are both wrong.

    I find it particularily funny how all the people that got owned by RC are now coming together to express relief that he is on time out. :lol:

    He was no worse than anyone else........... just better!

    Great post Germ... except for the grammar and spelling:poke:

    First off the word Christian was only used twice in the entire Bible... then in a derogatory way.

    But in answering your statement... A real Christian is best identified as one who is being conformed into the image of Christ. That thought is taken from Romans Chapter 8 verse 29. Christ never condemned anyone... not once. He did call some religious nut jobs names from time to time like "Sons of the devil" and "white washed tombs full of dead men's bones." He took on those who would reject the nature of God and try to force their own laws on others in an attempt to profit from religion, even using a whip at times. He shared compassion with those who were caught in adultery and forgave them anyway and He even asked forgiveness for the very ones who had driven nails into His hands and feet and had spit on Him. We all miss that mark by a long shot and its true... you probably don't know anyone like that. Maybe it would be best for all of us to consider ourselves pursuers of Christ's likeness rather than Christuians... I don't know.

    Anyway... I thought your post was very excellent and very honest... a mark of high character. Kudos

    What I find funny, is that people get into these peeing matches on the internet, and can't just walk away from it because they are "right." Both of these individuals are guilty of this. Rancid's not the only one spewing political propaganda, as one could tell just by looking at Bruce's Avatar. Which I know upset several members and he know it as well, but choose to keep it. I'm not taking either's side here, just pointing out the both individuals did the same type of things, just in a different manner.
