since the mrs is pregnant she says her tastes changed and want beef instead of deer. so i guess its time for me to make some summer sausages jalapeno, cheese, whatever you have i want to try to make it
Have you tried giving her venison and just saying it's beef? I know a pregnant woman's taste can be pretty acute, but it's worth a shot. Just don't let her find out.
You piss a pregnant woman off on a Sunday it is going to be a long week. My wife had a nose like a bird dog when she was pregnant. Fairly certain NebMo's wife would know it was venison when she smelled it cooking.
I usually just pick up some high temp cheese and then use the LEM Backwoods seasonings with it. Usually add a few diced fresh jalapenos of my own into it when I'm feeling spicy. Personally I prefer the 2.5" casings for summer sausage. I agree,but little tip for those who enjoy spice. I also mash up peppers and mix(with seeds) but when the recipe calls for water for mix I use jalapeno juice. Winner winner spicy summer sausage dinner
