My wife uses that in the states but when I do a beach vacation resort life is for me. I hate Florida so that's not an option.
We do the all inclusive resorts, the wife loves Riviera Maya. Most of our trips for 5-7 nights are under a grand a person with airfare and there are plenty of things to do away from the resort. My Mother just got back from her 10th visit to the Valentin in Riviera Maya, The Dreams Riviera Cancun is our favorite in the area as they have the best selection of booze and the food is great. They even have a Hooker style Sushi Bar. Stay away from Jamaica, the place is a dump for the most part.
I like going to Pigeon Forge TN myself. If not there, then we usually go on a Carnival cruise or to Myrtle Beach.
