After speaking with my parents, we've decided that, maybe, an Outfitter bow hunt (Mid West ?), would be a nice gift for my younger brother. Yea, I kind of pushed the issue, a bit.

He lives in a semi-rural area, but, he loves vast Country. When we drive through the country, his eyes are in the fields, scanning the woods edges- just taking it all in.

So, since I will be paying for most of this- anyone have any recommendations on a nice Outfitter(with a solid history of producing) thats fairly priced ?

    The more scenic, the better.

    Thanks

Drop, If you can wait a little bit I can tell you how my trip to southern IL goes. I'm hunting with Crystal Creek Outfitters the owner Bob is one awsome guy. I've talked to him on two occasions and spent close to two hours on the phone with him bs-ing about hunting. He really cares about his clients and is priced not bad at all for southern IL 5day bow hunt with food and lodging during rut $1800 late season is $1000 and he has some discounts running since the season is opened already I think it 25% off all hunts. His minimum isn't bad either 130 min. I have a hunt booked nov 5-8 so I will let you know if ya want how it goes.

    Sweet, tek...Thanks !!

I'm very interested to hear. I like the fact that you've spent 2 hours on the phone with Bob. I'd rather use an Outfitter that is more "friendly" and less business about his operation(to his clients).

Good luck. I hope you drop a monster.

    Thank you !!
