So I got a single pin adjustable sight last year and I really just don't like it. I am looking at getting a 5 pin sight, and a Spot-Hogg Right On to be specific. Just curious what is the difference between the .019 and .029 pins? Just the amount of space between your pins after they are set?
    Thanks for any helpful info!

The difference is the pin size. The size of the dot u see when u look through ur sight.

I have a Spot-Hogg Real Deal 5-pin. You will be totally satisfied with either pin size. I think that the larger one may give you a few more minutes of shooting time at dusk. Check me on that advice though, because it may be the other way around. Either way, you'll love it. Also, Spot-Hogg makes a light for their sights that is pretty cheap, if you wanted to get that with your new sight. Good luck this season man!

I personally shoot .010 sized pins on my Axcel Armortech 5 pin. If you are open to other high quality sights, check out the Armortech series by Axcel. They are of the highest quality sights that are 100% made in the U.S.A. I wouldn't trade mine for anything! It is easy to setup. It has micro adjusting pins that make it super easy to get sighted in. It is a tough sight that I don't have to worry about getting knocked off sight. I have to travel over 1.5 hrs just to hunt and it takes the constant travel during season with no problem. Check 'em out, you won't be disappointed. Hope you find what you are looking for. Good shooting!

It is the diameter of the fiber optic thread. So basically depends on preference, some people like the smaller version if they like to shoot longer distances.

.29 pins are to big for picking a spot. .19 max out to 40, then .10 beyond.

I use a .029 top pin and .019 the next 2 (I only have 3 pins). I tried the .010 and my older eyes have issues seeing them.
