Hey guys and gals. I am looking for some opinions on a new broadhead that will suit my setup the best. I am shooting a PSE Bow Madness at 29" and 70 lbs. I am shooting Gold TIp 7595 and I am looking for a new broadhead. I have shot several deer with mechanicals and I just haven't been impressed. They are great until I hit bone. I am looking at Muzzy and seem pretty sold on them. But I have no idea what to get. I want 100 gr. either 3 blade or 4 blade. And I also would like some input on which fletch to go with. I've always shot blazers in the past. And I love them. But I don't have a jig to fletch helical. Do I need this with the fixed blades?

Look at Slick Trick, G5 Strikers. You don't need any special fletch with fixed blades, any will do.

If that is the arrow length and your draw length you are probably good. A 125 grain tip would likely work too and give you a little better FOC, which helps in a few areas.

Muzzy has a real solid design in their all-new steel-ferruled MX-3 which comes in at 125 grains; that's what I'll be shooting this year.

As Bruce mentioned though, lots of good choices in fixed-blade heads out there... Slick Tricks, G5, NAP, etc.

Check out trophy taker's Shuttle T-locks. They come in both 100 and 125 grain. I'm going to be shooting the 125 grain Shuttle T this season and so far I have been really impressed with how they are flying.

Any good quality fixed blade will fly true if one takes there time and builds there arrows right or has them built right , having both ends of the shafts perfectly square , the inserts square , all the vanes weighing the same as well as the nocks , and floating the shafts in a tub of water after the inserts and nocks are in , getting the high spots of the shafts up and all vaned the same way helps also .
