As of 4 A.M. today we added a new bowhunter to the family. Adelyn Marie will need a bow (I think she has a 8 inch draw length) but I cant figure out her dominant eye yet. I dont think she should use mech heads yet so a smaller 2 blade fixed is what I will search for. Some new camo for her and a tot-carrier for me. My grandfather just turned 82 and still hunts so our deer camp will have a pretty big age range. Currently there is a bill pending in WI that would remove the 10 year min age for hunting otherwise I have to wait a decade to get her a tag.
Congratulation on the new limb on the family tree. A decade is not that long to wait for a good thing.
Shorter time would be nice but if it remains ten, then so be it. I had to wait until I was 12 (that was the law then) then it moved to 10 but now this bill would remove any age. Either way, she is going to be exposed to archery and bowhunting early on.
