    Im up here in MA and season just opened i was thinking of doing some grunting/doe bleets not sure if its to early or what one to do and i was thinking of either a buck bomb or estrus doe urine also im new to bowhunting so and advice would be welcome

    I'm not sure about Mass, but it too early in IL or the rest of the midwest. I'd wait at least another week. I know its hard, but it should prove worth the wait. the last thing you want to is to spoke deer away from you by presenting something that's not normal.

    kabar,I hunted(and lived) in s.e. mass for many years.hold off with the calls and especially the doe estrus until halloween.you don't want those bucks to know you've been there at least until they start chasing and looking for hot does.good luck !

    you may do alittle soft doe bleats, but they really don't do much for you,and like I said before your best tool in the woods is for the deer to have no idea that your there!

    You should focus on being over food right now or on food to bedding travel areas. Save the tricks and toys for closer to the rut, around the week leading up to Nov. 10th.
