Use your "snipping tool" on your computer to capture anything on your screen.

I can't figure out how to do it on my laptop, but try using your print screen button. Once you get the image on your computer, hit your print screen button. This SHOULD save thats on your screen. Than open up paint or any program simular. Once it's open hit ctrl+v to paste it onto paint. You can than just cut out whatever stuff you don't need and save the picture. This is the only thing that I can think of.

I hit print screen on your keyboard then open paintshop and hit ctrl v that pastes it in there you can crop, highlight boundries whatever in there. Then you can either save or print.

If your on a laptop like mine than you have to hold the fn key and push the prt sc key. The fn key is between the ctrl and windows key on the left side of the keyboard.

I thought you said you had Vista? If so, just hit your start button and start typing in "snipping tool" and you will see it come up. If not you will have to use the print screen feature then open paint, hit paste and then save.

Sweet! I didn't know why I couldn't get it to work on my lap top. I didn't know I had to use the fn key. The Snippet Tool works better, but I can't access it in full screen mode so this should be a big help in some of those situations.:)

By the way, welcome to the forum JayB22!

    Thanks deer slayer.

Photoshop is tough to use, and probably not really worth using if your just trying to save topo maps and draw certain boundries and whatnot on them. Paint is so easy to use and will turn out just as good. But if you get good at photoshop you can turn any buck into a monster. haha.

Did the print screen button work?
