Raised on a farm. Nothing like fresh beef or pork. Good to have a ready source. Funny story: We lived in Queens, NY for three years back in the early 60s. My mother mentioned the the ladies in the office about having fresh meat on the freezer. The city folks thought she went to the freezer and cut off a chunk. Didn't think about the prepackaged meat at the grocery or buying at the local meat market. Posting a funny.

Gotta be a neighbor that's a "squirrel squeezer" that stole your trap.

I still have it I replaced the suet cake, filled the jelly feeders and put out peanut parts. Red squirrel showed so I grabbed the 20 and went on the patio. little red bastard was barking at me on the ground. I drew the shot gun as the red was jumping up on the rock to get to the peanut parts, soon as he landed on the rock I shot him. I know probably not sporting to use a 20 gauge, I am just killing I do not want wounded escaping 1 shot dead. Funny I pick the squirrel up and hold it up so my neighbor can see it was a red squirrel, her husband tells me to shoot the reds, so when she bitches to her husband he tells her.
If my trap were not missing I could be more discrete with the killing. Who am I kidding I will never pass on shooting a red, and I still have two other traps.

One or two reasons I can think of for that. Both win, win situation for the BSD guy.

I think next time I have a rodent problem I will demonstrate to the orange tooth SOB's and my neighbor why there will be no peace or settlements on the Sota peninsula. I have procured ammunition like none they have ever seen Super Dragon Breath 12 gauge rounds. I will shoot and cremate with 1 pull of the trigger.

Sota, a wildlife officer refers to squirrels as tree rats.
