New bowhunter here, I have a new bow with a draw weight of 59#. My draw is 29.5". I only intend to bowhunt turkey at this moment in time. I have a Hostage rest. I also would like for my arrows to successfully clear my knuckles at full draw. My bow is a reflex buckskin. Now for the question. Would someone or many please give me some of their own opinions on what I need as far as this goes:
    1. Carbon or Aluminum arrows?
    2. Particulars on brand/model/grain of chosen arrow?
    3. Broadhead grain?
    4. And probably the most controversial fixed or mechanical?

Also, I intend on hunting from the ground(not a stand). Unfortunately I need to be cautious on what I spend as I cannot afford to lose many arrows at $25-$30 a piece(including fletching and broadhead in that total). So please keep that in mind, like I said I am just getting started. My knowledge is very limited on arrow particulars. Thanks ahead of time for any replies and help. Thank you.

Just trying to gain some beneficial knowledge prior to dropping a bunch of money on something I don't need.

JM has you pretty well covered for all your questions.

Definitely go with a carbon or carbon/aluminum - a decently priced carbon arrow that is extremely durable is the Easton Epic ST.

Personally for turkeys, I don't spend a whole lot of money on broadheads... I've not really ever found any reason.

    Welcome to the forum!
