Want high top rubber but need something I can negotiate tree steps with...what do you guys use/recommend? Southern Tennessee so no need for insulation. Any help or advice appreciated.
Realtree® Marsh Rubber Boots : Cabela's I just got these, they seem great but they run a little big. I wear an 11 but these in a 11 leave plenty of room for extra socks.
I have irish setter rutmasters and absolutely love them. My brother has mucks and he loves them. Under armours look just like mucks. I would go with one of those and I don't think you can go wrong at all.
I bought the Lacross Alphaburlys when BPS had them on sale a few weeks back and they are awesome. I planned to just wear them on wet days but think I will end up wearing them everyday. Sent from my BNTV600 using Tapatalk 4
I just bought my first pair of mucks from bps on sale amd they seem well made amd are very comfortable. Cant wait to put them to the test Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk 4
I have had the Gander MTN. Fanatic 17" boots for two years now. They have held up extremely well for the torture I have put them through. They ran a sale on them after season and I picked them up for less than $100.
I bought Irish Setter rutmasters and have had the Irish Setter ridgehawks for about 3 years and theyre phenomenal. Still holding up great and are the most comfortable boots I've owned, you can't go wrong with anything from red wing.
Thanks for the help, guys. I went with the Muck Woody Sport Cool. Nice and light and good flex to the foot. They seem comfortable around the house. We will see how they operate in the woods on the 28th!
I've used the Lacrosse Alpha Burlys and love them until someone stole them outta my truck. This year i bought the scent blocker uninsulated boots and love them. I've wore them several times hanging stands and checking cameras. They work great with tree steps because they're not bulky or have the really round toe. They are expensive but worth every penny.
I just bought a pair of the new LaCrosse Arrowhead. An Outdoor Life Best Buy. Over 4 years in development and 4,000 miles in testing. They are the bomb. Fair price I thought too for the outstanding comfort they provide. I paid $120 for them.
1 vote for Muck Boots! I have had the wetlands for 5 years and they are in great shape. I wear them every hunt
I plan to buy Lacrosse Alphaburly sport or pros next season depending on what goes on sale for under $100 first. Thanks for the advice on here!
