Probably over did it with the baits and attractants. It is legal to hunt over bait during the West Virginia bow season?

So you are saying over baiting is bad as well?

A salt lick will last a long time IMO. so should you remove it from time to time?

I personally would throw all that malarky out and set her on a good used trail! Set ya up a camera and see how often there using it and what time of day. Field edges are always a good easy way to score deer too!

Just use corn. No need for all that other stuff. I agree with Waggs, nothing better than setting up by a well traveled path. I don't know about you but it would make me feel much better than shooting one close to bait but thats just me. If you are looking for attractant try the BB2 from cabelas. I have been using that for my cameras and you don't have to put anything else with it. Hope this helps.
