I need your guys help on estimating a two deer on my property. I'm only 16 so I've got a lot to learn. One I call hang time the other I just call the big 9.

WooooooooW!! :jaw: Those are nice bucks!! are you wanting age or score? I would shoot both of them if I were you. the 9 might only be a 3yo its hard to tell. I'm 16 too btw.

I'm guessing probably boone and crockett for the big one. Or at leased high 160s and probably mid 140s for the 9.

I'm going to say the first on is easliy 5 1/2 and definitely a shooter.
The second one could be 2 1/2 but more likely 3 1/2. I'd pass on the second one.
Guessing the score on the first one I'd say 170 or just above gross score. Not real wide, velvet is pretty thin that late in the season.
The second, 140 ish but not much more. Don't appear to have much mass.
Both nice bucks though. Good luck!!
The ONLY reason I'd pass on the second one is from some of the sheds I found off of the buck I shot last fall. It is amazing the changes they can make in just one year.
