Was out practicing tonight and noticed that my bow developed a metallic vibration in the lower cam. I am taking it in to the shop tomorrow but was wondering if anyone can give me any advice on what it might be. Its a Parker Frontier bow. Season starts sunday and need to get this fixed. I was wondering if it could come from the bearings.
Could be bearings for sure. It might also be bushings. I'm hoping your pro shop carries the required parts in stock.
Me too. Season starts sunday and its a crappy time for this to happen. If they have the parts any idea on how long it takes to replace and expense?
FWIW I had a lower cam bushing go bad late last season on my Hoyt Alphamax. The pro ordered parts and said the bow was safe to hunt with. It took 5 days for the parts to arrive and the entire repair was covered by Hoyt. My shop is big on manufacture customer service. He only carries three brands; PSE, Hoyt and Parker.
