I got a picture of this buck and when I zoomed in on it to check out its rack I noticed the bumps on the base of its antlers and the ones behind its ear. I looked at all the other bucks on this card and none of the others have it. At first I thought they were part of the rack but they are shiney on the velvet so I am wondering if they are ticks. If they are ticks what a problem this deer has. I have the original picture and the enlarged.
    Thanks in advance for input.

That is the most ticks I have seen on a deer in one location.

Like has been said, ticks. It's crazy seeing some of the pics of deer this time of year and how many they can have on them.

someone sent a picture of a doe that the ear had so many ticks it hung down it was bad. How do you like how well I was able to zoom in on the deer and it stays clear? I love it.

It is a Camtrakker MK-10 a supporter of this Forum. Thanks You are the first to comment on how well it is able to zoom in and still have clear pictures.

That's the big advantage of those higher pixel cameras.

I feel like I just walked through a spider web... paranoid that every itch is a spider (or tick)
