OK Im just starting to bow hunt and i have been practicing shooting for a month and i just cant seem to get the sight right on target. I will shoot 5 times and if the arrow is doing the same pattern then i move the sight. The only thing i can think of its something that i am doing when im shooting. People on TV make it look so easy and i just cant seem to do it. Just look for some sugestions.
It sounds to me that you need to continue shooting and keep "consistancy" at the top of your list. A consistant stance, the way you draw, your anchor point, release, etc.. All of this has an impact on where those arrows will hit, primarily, your anchor point. Keep shooting and a lot of this will happen naturally as long as you're aware of it. Practice at short yardages. Rest more between ends until you have built up some stamina. It's like anything else.... Practice, practice, practice! Good luck!
My advice would be to make very sure you have center shot on your bow first and foremost and that your bow is properly tuned. This can be very frustrating if you don't. If your center shot is off you may shoot fine out to 20 yards or so, but as you shoot 30 and further your arrows will miss left or right as i did when I first started. I thought it was my shooting form and I was moving my sights back and forth to no avail. Just being a little off is bad. In this case you move the arrow rest not the sight pins to get center shot, then worry about your pins. Of course paper tuning and other methods should get you there. Practice, and make sure you have tension between your bow arm and release arm, as if pulling the bow apart.
