I bought a Triax back in February. I put a 5 pin Trophy Ridge react on it. I was skeptical of the plastic housing but decided to trust it. My second time shooting it infested I stripped out the set screw on the react part of the sight. Due to a hand injury I haven’t been able to shoot till this week. Needles to say I was right it stripped out on the second outing and I confirmed it today. I need everyone’s personal experience to help me choose a new sight as I will not trust this plastic design again. I hunt in Ohio out of tree stand and occasional blind and very comfortable with my skills to shoot out to 50 yards. Want to keep my price of new sight under 200. What do you guys think. Spot hog, hha, etc? I’m not a fan of adjustable single pin sights even tho I feel like that would work best for me.

Just curious. Why are you not a fan of what would work best?

Axcel Rheotech or Armortech if you want a fixed pin sight.

Spot Hogg Fast Eddie if you venture into a slider.

Got a black gold rush 4 pin sight. Only use three pins and the fourth stay all the way down. Only problem i had was that the level bubble fell off. No biggie. I do recomend you get the bigger sight ring. I got the standard and had to drop to a pretty small peep sight.

Can’t go wrong with HHA 3 pin. Get a fixed and slider in one. My 3 pins equal a 10yard increments all through out the tape.

I've had 2 Trophy Ridge sights and still have the React on my Bowtech bow. Never had a problem with mine but you might want to give them a call. I don't think it would be a waste of time. Otherwise I just put a Spot Hogg Fast Eddie single pin adjustable on my new Triax and love it. It's more than $200 but not a lot more. I would consider it if you want a single pin slider.

Another vote for Black Gold. I have a single pin slider that I love.

I have a 5 Pin React and had no issues with installation. Maybe try to return where you bought it and see if they will give you another? Try Trophy Ridge customer service too.

I sold 4 Axcel sights and a React 3 pin this year and went to a EZV sight. Best thing I ever did. No more peep sight don't have to worry about a ranger finder. 100% made in the USA.
