My wife shoots a diamond razor edge, she has a 24" draw length, and is pulling about 50lbs on it, I need some suggestions on arrows for this thing, she shoots 25" long arrows and has been using the cabelas stalkers, I think the 55/70 lb range ones, I need to know what we should go with being as her dl is so short, also some suggestions as to broadheads for her set up, definitely gonna stick with fixed blades, her bow shoots the g5 strikers very well, but my question is should I go down to and 85 grain head on her set up or continue using the 100gr heads, I know what works good on my set up but hers is throwing me for a loop since her dl is so short. Any help or suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Gersty
I shoot that same bow with a short d/l and I use the gold tip falcon arrows. I was told because of how light the arrow is to shoot 85gr broadheads so I'm going with the NAP hellrazors this year.
Thanks ANM21, I am lost when it comes to the shorter draw lengths and the lighter arrows, I was definitely looking at going with 85 grain heads, I look at some magnus, and the hellrazors, even the slick tricks, but have been lost on the arrows, Thanks for the input. Gersty
My girlfriend is shooting the same bow. She was using some arrows that we were given by our local shop when we got her the bow but they were 250's. I just switched her to Carbon Express Mayhem Hot Pursuit's in 150's shooting 100grain broadheads and it is working great.
