Here is where I would start looking. This is going to highly dependent on what is planted in the fields and what and where the human pressure is (homes, cars, etc) Pink= looks to be a good potential inside corner with apparent trail leading to it. Red= Probable travel corridors. These are wooded type funnels that the deer will have to walk to get from one part of the woods to the other without exposing themselves. Blue= Early season water. Could very much be able to intercept deer going to drink during early season. You need to get in there and check for sign and hang some trail cams. This is going to be tough because of the small size and not chase everything out of there. Edit: Wanted to add something else. Yellow: Good chance these may be bedding areas as they look like thick lowland. I would bet if you got close to these areas you may see trails going in and out.
I cheated, but I'd look specifically at these places.... http://mapper.acme.com/?ll=41.43029...r4=41.43029,-82.80449,2.1 mi N of Castalia OH I know where the water runs after clicking a couple links.
thanks for the input fellas...the side were the water hole is beans, the left side of the map, is all corn right now, along with the front of the woods...i hunted it once last year, but didnt get a chance to put trail cameras in there...
