Ok, so after much debate on my part, I have decided I want to atleast try this out. I want to build my own ghillie suit and do some bow hunting from the ground. I am trying to figure out what I want my base color to be for the suit (this is the color that is supposed to have the most on the suit) so this is where I am wanting any advice if any of you guys have tried this before? I am simply doing this for fun and to challenge myself. I don't want to bother just buying one bc as alot of you guys know I am sure, you get more pride out of building things on your own and reaping the benefit of your labor.

SO! Any input is much appreciated guys, I will make sure to take pictures and post as soon as I begin the process, just need netting and dye at this point! Thanks in advance for your help!!

Go with lighter colors to start with. You can always add some dark later. I would make it like I'm going to hide in a corn field and then tweak it.

I didn't build mine, I have a rancho safari shaggy suit. It has a lot of burlap pieces on it and is pretty light colored. It blends in pretty much anywhere.

Look at Natural Gear camop. Grey's, Brown, and black. It blends into every thing. Those colors are the best
