I just got the Matthews Heli-M and need to add accessories to it. I'm thinking about the HHA Optimizer Lite for my sight and the Octane Deadlock Lite Quiver for my quiver. I have no idea of what to get for my rest or release. I've decided on a drop away style for the rest and a wrist strap type release. I need to keep this stuff fairly cheap but I still want the quality of a good product.
look into NAP apache series. the apache drop away is great alot like a trophy taker. the apache stab isnt a weighted stab, but does its job eating up vibration. i have a tru fire hardcore release, its nice, but pricey. tru fire has some nice releases for minimal prices. HHA are nice sights, but only reach out to 60 yards. i sold mine for a black gold ascent ambush and shoot out to 100yards. if you have the coin get a tightspot, if not the octane will work just fine. i would shop around and get hands on everything you could.
Tru Ball and NAP Apache are both good. Try before you buy. I bought a Tru Fire foldback 360 wrist release and hated it. Binned it after 2 days. T.R.U. Ball Pro Diamond Release (Black) Just bought two more of these since I lost my first one.
