    Hey everyone,

So this is going to be my first season and I bought my friends old 2010 PSE Brute. After shoot for the last couple months, I have the bow dialed in pretty well. My only issue is with the bow floating around on me when at full draw. To fix this ive been looking for a stabilizer to help steady my aim. I obviously want something that has some weight out in front but can still keep damper noise and vibration down. So far Ive been looking at the NAP Apache 8 in? anyone else have any better recommendations or would the apache help me out? thanks

IMO A stabilizer isnt going to fix your problem with floating the around but you can find one to help with vibration, You might need some work on your form with floating around issue.

Ive had a number of guys who've been shooting for a very long time shoot my bow and they've all said its hard to steady because of the small let off. I did try my girlfriends brothers 12 in target shooting stabilizer and it made a big different with my aim but sucked for noise and vibration wasnt very good either. Thats why i was looking for a stabilizer that had some weight to help balance the bow at full draw.

A long stabilizer wil help your bow stop but may need some weight (8-14 oz) on the end. That is what a stabilizer is designed to do. A B-Stinger is what I use to teach my buddies how to stop the bow. Once they learn they can stop it, it seams they can go back to there other stabs and get it to stop. On all my hunting bows are: http://ktechdesigns.com/. Try a Tech7 or Tech 12 w/ Harmonic Stabilizer in the end.

Where are you located? If you are close enough to me I would let you try some. I have Tech3, Tech5, Tech7 and a 12" B-Stinger.

I'm using the same thing. definitely helped with vibration for my setup. Best thing would be to try a few different ones. What works for me and my setup might not work as well on yours. Good Luck.

Im not saying this to be a jerk but try lifting weights. I myself am pretty small guy and building up my arm strength really helped out alot. If you can hold a 20lbs dumbell steady a bow will be no problem.
