Well I have my new bow picked out but now I can't decide on what sight I want to put on it. Im between two sights right now, one is the HHA ultra lite and the other is a Black Gold Ascent 3 pin. They both are adjustable which I want but I can't decide if I want 3 fixed pins or just 1. What do you all think? Throw out any opinions you may have they may help me pick one.

Ascent!!! I Love any and all Black gold products! Customer service is great, pins are always bright, and you can choose several different configurations as far as bases and housings. They are also super simple to mount a quiver to, no messing around with spacers or extra parts.

I would be making a custom one if I did go with the ascent.

HHA!!!!! Great customer service, well made, and the brightest pins I've ever seen.

I went with 3 pin for the simple reason that I don't have to adjust my sight 0-40 yards, yet have the adjustability to go way out there.

I have no experience with the other sight but I've heard great things about them. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice.

It would only be a 3 pin so no clutter, but like Fitz said it's already said up 0-40

Oly I just picked up the HHA Optimizer lite ultra. I haven't had a chance to put it on yet as I'm waiting for season to be over. So far it seems great- really easy to set up and its built like a rock. I'll let you know what I think when I get her sighted in on Thursday.

You can get the HHA DS-fx5500 series which is a 3 or 5 pin slider on an HHA frame. You get the HHA's reliability, accurate tape system, durability bright pins and in a multi pin slider configuration. Best of both worlds

That might be the ticket right there, I thought they made something like that but I wasn't sure. Thanks for the link

I plan on buying a black gold ascent and customizing with four pins the top two green then yellow at .19 with the last two being green then yellow at .10 I like the ascent cause of the sleek look compared to hha. And the toughness and bright pins, also with the I able housing you can lock in for hunting then dial up for practicing long distance. Good luck.

i was in the same boat not that long ago. the HHA stops at 60 yards which defeated my plans to shoot at 100 for practice. i use a Tightspot quiver and the HHA isnt Tightspot friendly. there is a special bracket thing you can get, but i find it gaudy and why spend the money and add the weight. the black gold is tightspot friedly having the dial more forward and the 4in dovetail is an amazing option imo. i didnt care for black golds yardage pointer, but a hi-liter and some patience can fix that. look into the Spot hoggs too the tommy hogg is awesome and if you are military black gold and spot hogg give money off.
