Hi, I'm going to start hunting yotes, foxes and deer. Are there any good bow i should look at. What brand and draw weight should i be looking for. I need a RECURVE bow that could shoot from a squirrel to a coyote to a deer that is of dependable brand and qualtity.

Welcome from Iowa. I don't know anything about recurve bows. I shoot a compound. Friendly and knowledgeable folk on here will help ya out.
Someone who knows recurves will give ya some help on brands and models for a good starter bow I'm sure.

    Glad you joined.

If you plan on shooting traditional I would suggest trying the traditional fourm. I think you will get a quicker answer there. Good luck

Just remember, it's not the recurve that's shooting the critters, it's you. Buy a used recurve of relatively light draw weight (45 lbs. or less) to start. Shoot it a lot and work on your form. Shoot it a lot more and decide what it is you like/dislike and then spend the bucks on a custom bow.
