Getting new arrows thinking easton axis n-fused 340. I have a hoyt faktor 30 55-60 maxed out at 62lbs. 28in dl 27 arrow length. 100gr nap killzones. Should I add a 50 or 75 brass insert as well?

If I were you I'd shoot the 400s instead of the 340s with your DL and DW.

Maybe, maybe not. Especially if he wants to add weight to the front with brass inserts. Out of my 360 the 400's are too weak when I max it at 62#.

Ya I think your right coop, if he adds brass inserts 340s might be better. With standerd inserts I'd shoot the 400s.

I was thinking by going with the 340 and brass inserts it will have a higher foc and better penetration/ke.

Hard to find one as tough as the axis shafts.....never shot bemans...but they are the same company.

Axis is a fine choice but as the guys are saying go 400 unless you plan to add brass. I shoot a 29" nano 340 at 67lbs 422g arrow and it treats me well.

Hunters Friend... yes, get my arrows from them, never had a problem so far... with production time and shipping, takes about 2 weeks for delivery.... as for the arrows... instead of the brass, why not just go to 125gr. broadheads?? I shoot Beaman Pro Hunters, with 125 gr. tips, and nock on lighted nocks... get 11.5 FOC on a 26.5 inch arrow... fly great... hit hard...
