Tomorrow is goin to be mid 20s with 15mph winds so it makes it feel like 14º with some snow so goin to be freezing....so would u hunt a stand that over looks a thick area with lots of cover but haven't seen nothing every time I hunt there but know the deer go by there or hunt my blind I put up yesterday that over looks a big hill that's not that thick but we know deer walk by there all the time and is the only spot I've seen deer this year... so I guess what I'm asking is where u think the deer are goin to go with weather that windy and cold... thanks and sorry for being so long
find a pinch point corridor where the wind will be coming at you that the deer would travel in front of and good luck! in my experience on cold days with wind they will travel those areas from bed to feed and back to bed for cover and to stay out of wind.
The hill would be closer to food its about 80yards from a cut bean field... that's rlly the only ag fied around..
In cold weather...deer have to feed to keep warm. Now to a deer 14 isn't all tha tcold but they will still be hitting the food hard at some point. They will probably be out late in the morning and early in the evening but I've been seeing deer travel here at mid-day.
