    Hi all I'm new to this site and want to take up bow fishing, as I have to go to France to hunt deer with a bow, I can bow fish over hear in the uk, what is the best value fishing package at the moment, I have a bear strike as my main bow and would like my fishing one to be bear if that was possible????

    I would just try and find an older bow you don't care about abusing. Buy an AMS retriever reel and an arrow, and get out there. Drop the DW to 45ish pounds, and you should be set. You could also go the recurve route like I did.

    I use a recurve =] but like ihunt said cheap old bow...doesnt have to be a nice one like the strike because you will beat it up...ams reel is great and well worth the money
